it's almost done...

It's actually further along than even this picture shows...I've colored in all the characters...all that's left is the grass and it's on it's way to Ekaterina. I will post a finished version, but I could not hold this back any longer. Heh heh, every time I look at this that fruit hat makes me smile. That, and I get this crazy urge for a Mai Tai....let's all have some rum and call it a party, LOL!

Let's start a new exchange

Back in November 2008 i had started a project named ''the cahier project'' based on the idea of art exchange. Unfortunately the project got dead due to the loss of my cahier moleskine.Today i am about to begin something like ''the cahier project volume 2'' taking the risk for second time.If anyone from here would like to join this project please send me a flickr mail or an email at esek_one@hotmail.com or just reply here.

We are going to use a cahier moleskine,i encourage you to start your own,where each artist will leave his own mark.The subject of the entry it could be some sketches,doodles,words,a favorite song or poem,your name or the date you got it,it could be everything.I don't care if this will be named ''the cahier project volume 2''.if there is any response from you i may contact Marty Harris from moly_x in order to make this exchange a part of moly_x.

Hey Hello Monster Moleskine Crew

Bea's moleskine here, lot of fun, playful energy abounding.  I tried my best to curtail my more horrendus monsters, Beatrice, I hope you like them.  

Ive left lots of room, this moleskines been great for its interactivity and the oppurtunities still available for it.  And I hope nobody minds, but part of how i worked this time was adding color in various spots.

Heres the whole thing, the book in total...I think theres 2(?) more people and then its back to Italy!!

Monsters at the beach...

Well...Michael left with me with a "sandy" sort of lead - in, LOL, and then he gave me an idea of a sand castle...so I guess I went a little overboard with the beach themed monsters, but honestly what else would you expect from a girl in sunny California, right?

Esek, I hope you like this entry, it's been of of my favorites so far :) And forgive the blurry photos below, but I wanted you to get a sense of how far your book has progressed.

Slow - too slow?

Dear all,

I want to apologise for being so slow lately. I still have Ekaterina's Moly with me and I haven't worked on it yet.

Life's going on crazily these months, and I'm so busy I can't even think properly about the million of things I'm doing. So sorry about that!

I still want to be involved, and I hope that my delay doesn't bother you too much. However, if it is the case and if you want me to leave the xchange, I'll understand. But, pleeeeaaaaase, just keep me in! :D

I have just been contacted by Josh through flickre, I wanted to apologise for being so slow, I am in the midst of a difficult separation plus started a new job.....so not a lot of time. I am happy to carry on and will do my best to speed things up but I said to Josh that if any or all of you feel I am slowing things up too much I will not be offended if you would rather I drop out of this exchange. In the mean time I hope to finish katarinas moly this weekend and have it posted mon/tues......also complete ditz, I've lost your address again esek, so will need you to send it again!

Hey Now.  You know how when you got plenty to do you wind up doing something that doesnt need to be done instead?  Thats what happened here.  I made a banner.  Anybody have any objections to me putting it up?  I think probably the red one.  Those among you might derive pleasure from the fact that a majority of this was done during briefings and meetings.  Makes me happy at least.

Bea, your book is full of cute monsters....so I had to of course add some more :) And it appears your book has taken on a space theme which was really the main inspiration for my entry. If you've never heard of the Steve Miller Band, go check out this song, the Joker, LOL....I couldn't resist.

Josh's Moly ready to fly to Spain

Hi!

I've actually finished my entry in Josh's Moly almost one month ago, but I haven't sent it around yet. My fault, which I hope you'll understand (I wasn't home for a while).

Now I've put the Moly in its small yellow postal package and I've put Jose Antonio's address on - so the Moly is ready to fly to Spain now. I'll have it sent by Wednesday at the latest.

As always, I'll appreciate Jose Antonio's confirmation of arrival when the packet reaches his letter box. :)

Moly are moving :D

I've been busy lately and had only will and time to do sketches for my own, ill confess I've been also bit lazy with the exchange, couldnt find a time to do it properly and relaxed, also I had two molys together to do and not many ideas, but, finally I came out of the lazyness and did my entrys :D
I think it went pretty good, im happy with the looks of the books, I did 4+ pages on both and left some goodies around, you'll find when the books get to you, you are encouraged like always to mess with my drawings, add stuff on top or anything you like

Jesse's MolyI did a bit more happy/child entry on Jesse's moly, I thought I would continue with the carpet thingy esek and beatrice did, and tho it dosnt show on the scan I did a bit more on the fifth page, a couple of little animals

On Esek's moly I did bit more agressive/adult entry, but I think it has a lot of humour aswell, I wanted to do a sucubi thingy eating beatrice's style monsters and also the monsters arming and reagrouping around to fight back, on the 4rth page I sketches a bit of something lady orlando can use to keep with the background or just discard, its kind of a mushroom forest

this weekend I sent Esek's moly to Lady orlando, next week ill send Jesse's moly so the molys get separated again so everybody can do the entries with a bit more of time
